BNI BC MEMBER SOCIAL CLUBS
Terms and conditions
Purpose of the Clubs
BNI BC has created a means for members to intentionally interact with one another across regions by developing recreational clubs. This will allow members to interact with each other in social settings based on common interests.
The intent behind the clubs is two-fold:
1. To engage and retain our first-year members – Our desire is to help first-year members create more relationships in the first year beyond that of their chapters. First-year members struggle to get referrals as they work to develop trust among their fellow chapter members. By being a member of a club, this will allow them to engage with other members they may not have had the ability to meet, as well provide the ability to build relationships across the region and thus expanding their networks. Membership in the clubs will be offered at a discount to first-year members.
2. To create engagement with existing members – by participating in a club, those members who have been in chapters for a long time can become reengaged by interacting with members across the entire region with whom they may not have had the opportunity to network in the past. The clubs are based on common interests and allow people to interact on those commonalities thus opening the door to more opportunities to help one another using the BNI Philosophy of Givers Gain!
The Clubs:
We will start with a limited number of clubs:
· All Clubs will be limited to 20 – 25 members depending on the club.
· Members must maintain an active membership in BNI BC to join and remain in a Club
· All members must sign a Liability Waiver to participate

· Clubs will meet once a month to plan and hold one event per month weather permitting.
